Visitor management
Guests on the list before they arrive.
Residents pre-register guests in the portal. The gate recognizes them on arrival. The legacy clipboard goes away.
Workflows
One UX for residents. One for guards.
Resident-issued passes
- Pre-register a guest in the portal (name, plate, valid window)
- Pass delivered to the guest by SMS or email — QR code + plate
- Recurring passes (cleaning service every Thursday 9–11am)
- Group passes for parties — one-tap-share link with name self-entry on arrival
- Auto-expire — no orphan passes left active
Contractor passes from tickets
- Maintenance ticket created → contractor pass generated automatically
- Pass valid only for the ticket's scheduled window
- Vehicle plate captured during dispatch; auto-added to allow-list
- Pass closes when the work order is marked complete
- Subcontractor sub-passes for crews of multiple vehicles
Package & delivery whitelist
- UPS, USPS, FedEx, Amazon, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart — pre-approved by default
- Per-property toggles for what's allowed (some HOAs ban food delivery in amenity zones)
- Delivery driver gets a one-time QR or auto-recognized plate (where carrier publishes it)
- Delivery log per resident — no more "did UPS drop a package today?"
Guard kiosk mode
- Tablet-friendly UI for staffed gatehouse
- Live arrivals queue with photo and plate
- One-tap call to host resident on unrecognized arrivals
- Manual override and incident logging
- Shift handover with last-100 events visible on login
Audit & reporting
Every entry, every exit, every override.
The visitor log is a board-meeting-grade audit record. Every gate event is captured with plate, timestamp, host resident (if applicable), confidence score, and any guard action. Search by plate, by resident, by date range. Export to CSV or PDF for HOA board packets, police reports, or insurance claims.
