DwellPort started inside a property-management firm running a 480-home gated community. They were paying Buildium for the books, DwellingLIVE for the gate, and a separate inspection app for move-ins. Three logins. Three vendors. Three invoices. And a property manager who spent half her week reconciling the three rosters by hand.

Every adjacent industry has consolidated this kind of stack — except residential property management. The PMS vendors stop at the lease. The visitor-management vendors stop at the door. Nobody owns the seam where they should meet.

We extracted the layer that owns that seam and turned it into a product.

What we believe

• Per-unit pricing, not per-user. Bring every property manager, accountant, and gate guard onto the platform. Adoption is the whole point.
• The gate is part of the platform. Smart access and visitor management are first-class modules, not third-party add-ons.
• Honest accuracy claims. We don't say "99% ANPR" — we say "industry-typical 95–99% in good conditions" and we publish the setup guide that gets you there.
• Privacy by default. Plates only. State-specific retention enforced. No facial recognition.
• Honest pricing. The price on the website is the price on the contract, including the minimum.
